I know they're not intended to be heavy duty and I don't use them for that but the fabric part does sometimes catch rather easily. In the end I bought both pairs so she will have dry weather gloves and wet weather gloves which will be handy for farm maintenance which doesn't seem to stop regardless of weather. My son has always used the Cutter 100 as they are soft but protect, compared to other makes which restrict movement and grip.

I wish there was velcro fastening around the wrist so you can tighten them.
